With Coronavirus infecting the whole world, and all Disney parks shut down indefinitely, many fans are reflecting on other times that the parks have closed unexpectedly. There have been natural disasters and threats to national security, and even a day of mourning for a slain president.
50 years ago, Disneyland shut down for a very different and very weird reason; because of the threat of counter-culture rabble rousers.
