I once read a prediction that we would all have smart
devices in our pockets someday. Devices that would interact, on our
behalf, with the digital world all around us.
This prediction was scarily accurate, but failed to
take into account the tole our smart devices would take on our
day-to-day lives, and the ways in which we interact with the world
around us. The people around us.
This is, to me, never more glaring than at a theme park
in 2020. All of the parks, from Disney and Universal to Knott’s and
SeaWorld have some sort of app. A way to unlock more of the magic,
if you will, but at what expense?
Are cell phones helping, or hurting our theme
park experience?
Adam, Kory and Sean have that, a live check-in with
Jacky Boy at Disneyland, and the Parks Planning Forecast for this
weekend, on today's Theme Park Pulse!
